    Thomas Edwards is the Athletic Director/PE Teacher for Horizon Science Academy in Columbus, Ohio. He has worked for Horizon since August of 2004. Prior to coming to Horizon he taught Elementary Physical Education at Sedalia Elementary School.

    He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from West Virginia State University in 2000, Masters degree in Sports Management in 2007 from Ashland University, and a Masters in Educational Administration from Ashland University in 2013. In College he played football for both Marshall University and West Virginia State University. In his spare time he enjoys being outside with his wife Heather and sons, Colton and Carter.

    Kristin Sony is the Regional Community Outreach Coordinator for Concept Schools in Columbus, Ohio. She has worked for the schools since 2008 beginning as the Art Teacher at Horizon Science Academy Elementary. Prior to that, she taught elementary art for two years for Charles County Public Schools in Maryland. In addition to teaching, she owns a small art business in Columbus, Square Canvas.

    She earned her Bachelors degree in Art Education from the University of Toledo in 2005, Masters degree in Integrating Technology into the Classroom from Walden University in 2008, and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2014. At the University of Toledo, Kristin spent most of her free time volunteering for Camp Adventure. Through this program, she spent three summers working on United States Military bases around the world with military dependents. She now has two kids of her own, Kaden and Cheryl.

    Natenon Tongtae is better known as Max. He is an alumni from Horizon Science Academy High School of Columbus and The Ohio State University. While studying for his Biomedical Engineering Bachelors, he was involved in various activities in CONCEPT such as Science Fairs and Alumni Dinners.
    His Horizon Science Academy experience started in the 7th grade because of his struggles with Social Studies exams in the 6th grade. Over the next 5 years, he has been joining various school sponsored activities and lead the first soccer team to its first undefeated season by his senior year. In addition, he achieved a 4.03(?) overall GPA in his high school while taking advanced courses such as AP Calculus and Physics Olypamid preparation course.
