In Loving Memory of CHEIKH KANE

We waved goodbye to twenty-two year-old Cheikh Kane, a Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati alumnus, class of 2011 and a promising young man in his first year of his career as a pilot, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016 after battling cancer.

Cheikh graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Aviation in May 2015. He was diagnosed with leukemia at the end of July 2015 and had surgery in August. While recovering at home, he became ill and was hospitalized on Sunday, February 21st, 2016 and we lost him three days after this hospitalization. He now flies high above any high-ranking captain in history.

His mother and father have allowed us to share this information with you, as he is one of Concept Schools’ proud alumni.

At any age this is hard for anyone, let alone a twenty-two year old young man. At this emotionally and financially challenging time any help is greatly appreciated, even if it’s just one dollar.

Thank you
