Briefly, describe your career path.
I am currently employed by the University of Tennessee at Martin working in the field of Student Affairs/Higher Education.
What are you passionate about in your work/school?
I love the career path that I've chosen because it allows me the opportunity to give back to students and because the work that I do ensures student success/graduation. It is also a plus to see students you work with graduate, grow and mature throughout the four years that you have them.
Where is your career headed?
I will be heading back to school in spring 2016 for another graduate degree and I ultimately want to teach at the collegiate level and continue working in student affairs/higher education.
How has your Concept Schools experience helped shape your success?
Horizon (Concept) helped me realize that success is something obtainable as long as there are willing minds and hands to do the labor.
How are you a game changer? Or, how are you making a positive impact in the world?
I am making a positive impact in the world by molding the minds of the future leaders of this world and by enriching students with the tools and programs that they need in order to be successful.
What is the most amazing or interesting thing that’s happened to you since graduating?
The most interesting thing to happen to me since graduating would happen to be my success with my career and in the field of student affairs/higher education.
Your favorite Concept Schools memory?
My favorite memories from Horizon Science Academy would have to be graduation in 2005 and the opportunity to participate and place in the Ohio Science Fair at John Carroll University.
How do you support and participate in the Concept Alumni now?
I have attended some of the reunions and award recognition ceremonies given by Horizon Science Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.
