My career path.
|
My experience since graduation has been extremely overwhelming. My mindset has
changed significantly from my freshman year to my senior and to where I am at
right now. For example, I wanted to pursue a career as a football player or game
designer but, as I explored my options and got involved in different activities, I
realized that it wasn’t for me. I wanted to pursue a career in something I was
passionate about which is why I have now chosen wrestling.

My passion for wrestling.
|
I started wrestling my sophomore year in high school and I had to make the choice
between dropping out of high school and focusing on wrestling or staying in school.
I chose to stay in school because I realized that sometimes plans change and if at
one point I can't pursue my dream as a wrestler, I will still have my education to
keep me going. There was a point where I stopped wrestling for a while. I didn't
want to give up on my dream and I felt like I was letting myself down by stopping.
I quickly went back to it because it was something I didn’t want to forget about.

A new chapter in my life.
|
Once graduation came along, I saw all my fellow classmates in front of that stage
and we all knew an important chapter in our lives was coming to an end. But for me
it was just the beginning. Three months after graduating I returned to professional
wrestling. I had been training for a year and a half before I had my first match. My
first match was a turning point for me, it was a monumental moment because after
being told I couldn't do it, after being told I wasn't good enough; I made it. So far I
have wrestled in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Carolina and Tennessee. I am 22 years
old now and I am living my dream.
